The days in between - those days when life slows down to a crawl and I revel in the envelope of home. Not depressing - just there. These days are late morning nap days, cartoons in the afternoon days, office chair dancing days when you can hear giggles and Etta James throughout the house. Rich, delicious smell days when the aroma of food becomes the opening act for the real performance and I can just breathe it all in and exhale contentment. Apricot wine days, baked salmon and potato days, clinking glasses, a little jazz and sigh days..............oh, Happy Day.
