Glow Now

A long lead-in to a new beginning -the pink glow of the sunset interjecting it's beauty on the deepening blue sky; the stars twinkling for attention as the moon, a half circle globe shines yellow, ever changing but solid, watching the night.  Now, I talk less and think more and watch the day stretch out before me with just a quick glance from the pages of my current book.  It won't always be like this - housework will still have to be done; appointments made and kept; and some cooking here and there - but, in this moment, I choose to observe from afar as my world slowly evolves into the "me of now" - content to glow rather than twinkle, be solid while ever changing - for now.
